What Does Your Dog Look Like?

Wow, reading everyone's reply's really proves how reserved Dodger is (or perhaps just lazy).

If he's been well-exercised and is sleeping when I come home, it often takes him 30 seconds to wake-up and come to say hello to ME (the rest of my family don't even get that)[:)]...and if there's no bags to sniff, he goes right back to bed without a backwards glance. This happens in summer and fall when he gets loads of exercise and is rarely left alone.  In the winter when he's left alone a few hours each day, he is much more exuberant in his greetings and usually follows you around (but if you bore him, he will go back to bed).

If he hasn't had enough exercise or he's awake when I come home, he gets the wiggles, brings a toy and shadows me.

With visitors, Dodger is always excited and has to go from one to the other CONSTANTLY...he'll take turns leaning on each person (because he is too lazy to stand up on his own)[:D]

Gingerbread scrambles around, wagging his tail like crazy, then stands on his hind legs with his front feet up like he's trying to give me a double high five... I call it "doing the lobster" because it reminds me of a lobster holding up its big claws. [:D] He also does a play bow and thumps the ground with his front paws. Basically he gets VERY excited when my husband or I come home. [:)]

Tasha is ears pricked, doggie laugh, and play bows. Floyd is ears back, runs in circles with a few squeaks and little half jumps like he's on hydraulics. Wolfgang races back into the house (they have access to both indoors and out while we are gone) and steals something to present to us. Maybe a glove, maybe a shirt from the laundry. None of it is ever destroyed while we are gone so it's just a funny quirk.

Kota has to find the nearest stuffed toy and then snort with it in his mouth as he runs around wiggling until he gets petted.
Tasha is in her crate so when she gets the "free" she launches out of the crate and goes flying across the room, tail going in circles as it wiggles her butt around.  She also alternately whines and barks at us till one of us pets her.
Pepper is also in a crate and launches herself on the "free".  She runs to get  a drink then just follows us around, tail wagging.  She makes sure to stay out of Tasha's way.[8|]
Shadow barks as we open the door then wags her tail and goes to get a drink.  lol...

Odie is crazy happy when I get home. Usually he's waiting at the door, his little tail stump wagging a mile a minute, his whole body wiggling, ears sometimes back, and he JUMPS. I know it's a terrible habit, but somehow you just can't stop a JRT from jumping HIGH. Usually I'll sit down or sit on the step to be closer to the ground. Odie will then jump in my lap and give my face LOTS of kisses.

I love it! Makes my day, everyday [sm=biggrin.gif]

Chyna wiggles all over the place. She turns circles and does the "wag-a-nub" dance.  Bevo sits respectfully and flashes that great dobie smile.  Brinxx stands up on her hind legs but doesn't make contact with me at all. (That isn't allowed and all the dogs know it.)  Shooter zips in and out from under the other dog's legs.  It's usually chaos for the first 20-30 seconds, then they all go back to their beds and toys.

Ginny  dances around up on her hind legs and waves her front paws around without touching you, wiggles and waggles and grabs a tennis ball and shakes it in your face until you throw it :)

Our two do different things. Trix (collie cross), comes running from wherever she was, making strange short yelping sounds. Her tail wagging like I don't know what, until shes at my feet then she does a strange dance from one side to the other, nibbles my fingers (she got that from the springer, never did it till she did) and then herds me into the living room.
Whereas Mol (springer spaniel) comes running and bounding over anything in her way, and wiggles lots, ears flat and nibbles my fingers until I say hello to her (though her tail always stays low).
I know if somethings not right as they don't come running.
