    Just overexcitement or problematic??

Benji is a very lovable 5 month Male Springer Spaniel..

He get's very excited with other dogs and people...

Lately though he has acquired the habit of peeing when seeing people.
On shoes, elevators... and everything in between...

Should I be concerned that there is something wrong. Or is he just an
overexcited puppy....  and if so how do I correct this behavior???
    More walks???

I have recently reduced the number of walks from 5 per day to 3 or 4...

The number of walks was fine, what happens is that when he is excited because a person, that person can bring more excitement by greeting back and he will pee for over excitement, ask a friend to help you with this, tell your friend to come over but at the moment of entering your house your friend needs to ignore your dog and not give attention UNTILL the dog is calm, you will see a difference

This is a huge issue with spaniels and soem other smaller dogs. We had a american spaniel during my childhood that did the same thing. She grew out of it but I noticed that it waqs only upon greeting.
We started to not get so excited when we came home, going as far as to outright ignore her until sh erelaxed but I knwo this has been brought up before and it shouldnt be long before someone has better suggestions!
