6am Alarm clock

    6am Alarm clock

Wasabi and I just made the move to California, which is awesome.  I love it here and she seems to too!
I am living with my boyfriend and his parents.
Wasabi  is getting along great with everyone, even the pets.

The problem I'm having is that at 6am his parents get up to go to work and she insists on barking, one loud shrill bark everytime she hears a door close or if they make a noise that is a little louder than normal.

Is there any way I can curb this?  This morning I got so pissed I put her outside the room, but all she did then was snort very loudly under the door and start whining.

It's not the new place, she has been this way before, the last time she was like this I put her with the other dogs and I couldn't hear her bark, but now there is no where to put her and I'd like to curb the habit before I move into an apartment and she insists on barking at every little noise.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Read "The Bark Stops Here" by Terry Ryan.  If all else fails, citronella collar.  www.premierpet.com

    Okay I'll check that out.
You know that's funny my boyfriend last night suggested that collar for her.  Wouldn't it be gross having it spray while she's in our bed though?

Of course the first couple days while she is realizing she is gonna get the spray every time she barks would be better if you dont have her in the bed

Hmmm now I really must look into one of those.

She is not a bad dog at all, it's just people I've lived with have not helped me at all in curbing her barking.  The last friend I lived with actually encouraged it.  Drove me insane.
My boyfriend now is helping me, he's working to help me make her better.
