• How to get my dogs to stop barking at EVERYTHING? • spiritdogs Posted : 7/4/2006 9:33:44 AM I like to clicker train a cue for "quiet".  Once you have the dogs understanding a cue, you can ask them to quiet after they let out a few barks. Lengthen the time between the cue and the click gradually. • Ashley Posted : 7/4/2006 9:38:08 AM That sounds like a good idea.  Someone I know uses a squirt bottle and the words "no bark" at the same time.  What are your thoughts on using water in a squirt bottle? • bunni Posted : 7/4/2006 10:14:12 AM A note about using a squirt bottle on little dogs (which I don't agree with doing anyway): Some groomers use spray bottles when grooming the dogs.
