The garden is currently blocked off with snow fencing, to give the plants a chance to start growing. There is also a decent strip of grass blocked off with it, to give Dad some working space. The dogs have the other 3/4 of the back yard to rip and tear. Eventually, this fencing will come down, so I'd like to start teaching Trooper that the garden is off limits. I'm not sure how to go about this, but I am thinking it will involve bringing him into this fenced off area (on the grass) on a leash, and lots of treats.
How would you suggest I do this?
