    Easy walk harness

This is driving me batty.  And it is driving Zeus batty because I keep messing with it.

But....I cannot get this harness to fit like this.  The belly strap and the shoulder strap does not go in a straight line like it does in this pic.

No matter what I do, it ends up more in a Y fashion.

    Here is said pic:http://www.premier.com/pages.cfm?id=76

If someone has a pic of their (preferably large) dog in theirs, I would be indebted forever if they posted it so I can have a look see.

When on the dog, does much of the belly strap show?

Not to brag or anything (snicker snort) but Zeus looks pretty sharp in his.  But only if it is attached to the collar.  If not, I don't like the way it hangs in front.  It is not straight across his chest, nor up high enough without collar.

Now I have that tightened as far as it will go, but I still have a droop. (yep, I'm a spaz)

So, anyone have any tricks or "aha now I got it" experiences with this thing?  Or do I just have to live with the droop?

I am okay living with the droop, as long as I know that I have it fitted properly. Zeus is pretty picky about what goes on his body but he doesn't seem to even notice this thing is on.

But he damn sure is going to get an attitude toward it if I don't stop all of the "adjusting".

First...is it the right size? The only reasong why it would droop is that it might be incorrectly fitted.

Yeah, it is the right size.  It is a large.

An extra large would be too big and a medium would be too small.

They do make "tweenie" sizes now.  At any rate, I have no digcam, but if you have the odd colored strap on the belly, and the logo on the top strap, it is right side up.  The chest strap should sit pretty high on the chest, and be horizontal, or parallel to the ground.  You should be able to barely slip two fingers under each strap.      I know.  The pic does show it pretty high on the chest.  That is really my issue.
But when googling images, the chest  strap is low and pretty close to the front legs. And pretty tight.

So now I am wondering, why would they advocate attaching it to the neck.

If you look at Oliver on the premier page, his is low.  How can that be attached safely to a regular collar?  Without pulling the neck down constantly?http://www.premier.com/pages.cfm?ID=75

Zeus's rides a bit higher like the little Zeus on the same page, but it is loose.  It easily connects to the collar without pulling the neck.

So maybe it is good that it is somewhat loose.

But, it does sound and look as if the company is doing a bit of a dance.
