Is there an ezymatic that could be used with a steam cleaner?

I steam clean my carpets myself.  As a pup, Misty had made alot of spots on the carpet on the second floor of the house.  To take care of the problem, I steam cleaned them (my cleaner makes the water get really hot) using the regular Bissell solution and made extra sure to suction the rugs until they were nearly dry.  Then, I did a heavy spraying all over the carpeting with "No Go," a product that discourages remarking.  It worked for us here.  I'm assuming it was the cleaning, not just a sudden revelation on Misty's part.  I don't see any reason, though, why you couldn't add like 1/4 cup of white vinegar to the water, as that also helps remove the odors.  Be careful, though, and test a small area, as vinegar can affect the dyes in clothes, I assume it can also affect the dye in carpets.  

I just did my carpets a couple weeks ago. Since there are always kids or animals playing on my carpet, I don't like to use chemicals to clean them. I use 2 tablespoons of baking soda per gallon of hot water and a few drops of lavender essential oil (makes it smell nice plus bugs hate lavender!). I clean the carpets as usual with my steam cleaner and then vacuum really good when I am done. It got rid of cat pee odor when my cat had an accident as well as Missys accidents!

We also have our own steam cleaner, soI was wondering if doing that would work. We cleaned them a few weeks ago and went over some spots that we THINK are problem areas from when our other dog was little (we think this because dirt sticks to this one large area like no other)...but we just used regular cleaner and it didnt change a thing...so do you think a heavy spraying of no-go will work? I dont want to discourage her from walking on the carpet and playing, just not to pee there! We are struggling badly with this...6 mos old and no improvement with housebreaking! UGH!
