All night crying

she is probably feeling lonely, how old is your girl? Try giving her an old shirt of yours with your scent, maybe a teddy bear to keep her company. My Golden had the same problem when she was a puppy and she slept with a teddy that at the time

Shes very young and scared when your leave her alone at night.  She needs to be with her pack, you[]... thats why shes crying.   Can you put the crate by your bed for now?

I keep the crate at the foot of my bed, where she can see me.  She always has a bone, and old shirt and a teddy with her when I put her to bed.  The funny thing is that she always quiets down when she hears me moving around in bed.  I think it's because she thinks I'm getting up to let her out.

Have you ever let her out during the night when she's whining?  Luckily for us, this only happened the 1st night we got Boomer.  He cried all night long and ended up sleeping on the floor beside his crate but never opened his crate door. Ever since then we don't hear a peep out of him all night long.

When I brought home JJ, she cried on the first night while in the crate.  Every 2-3 hours and I had to get up to calm her down.  So finally I let her roam around in my room at night and she stopped crying.  I never really crate her but many said to do so.  So for the first week, she was sleeping on the side of my bed ontop of towels.    Give your pup some time to adjust......hehe.

I am a crate training failure. When my 1.5 year old Misty came to us at 14 weeks, the breeder told us she had been sleeping in a crate in her bedroom, so that's what we did.  She cried through the first night, and then started crying through the second night, and I picked her up and put her up against me in the bed and that's where she's slept ever since. 

The older one that we adopted came to us crate trained and he loves his crate, goes to it the minute you ask him to, heads straight for it when you tell it's time to go to bed.  I would guess the woman who trained him was a bit more stoic than I.  By seeing how much he likes his crate and finds it a source of comfort, I think it'd be worth some nights of crying to achieve.  So, listen to the advice of the successful crate trainers here, because the end end result is well worth the time you put in now.  

You ARE going to have to get up and take her out to peepee multiple times in the night.  She may be crying because she needs to go out.

Both of my Poodles sleep with me and my husband. I love it, the dogs love it, but my husband isn't too sure about the whole arrangement!LOL
