    Puppy training issues, etc.?

I have a 19 week Papillon puppy.  But when I got her she was 10 weeks old and weighed 2.7 lbs. She eats Science Diet for ;puppies.  Now, she weighs close to 4 lbs.  She learns quickly, but due to my disability, I cannot take her out for her daily duties. She does go outside though.  So, we trained her to go on newspaper. My first question is, do you think it's possible to train a dog to eliminate in a litterbox?  I read in a magazine that this litter box is automated and will clean poop once the censor is detected.  What do you think?  She does well with the paper though.

Laya, my puppy, sleeps in a crate at night with no problems.  During the day if we are doing something that requires clean up or something else then she goes into the crate.  But when we leave she throws a fit. Will this eventually stop?   Does anyone have any ideas

Yes, my mom's dog uses the litter box all the time.  She lives in Colorado and sometimes it is to cold for her to take Cloie outside.  Cloie is a yorkie( I think I spelled that right, sorry if I did not) and the snow is really hard on her feet.  My mom has a Xlarge kennel that she stays in while the family is away.  The litter box is small enough to fit in the kennel.  Cloie uses the litter box all the time.
Good luck, let me know how it goes.

My Papillon, Laya, is finally trained to use the litter box. [:D][:D].  It took me awhile, but I think we did it..!!.   Instead of using sand, I'm using newspaper to line the bottom of the box.

She still fights me when it's time to go into the crate, but eventually she does quite down and sleep. Will this go away in time?  She's about 4 months old.

She's also in the habit of eating her own poop, but not all the time.  She lets me know sometimes by barking, but I didn't get it in time in the box. The Vet gave her some pills, but I can't get her to take them.  She really fights me over that.  There's a few items in Doctor Fosters & Smith, sorry I don't remember the name off hand, but I do remember that they are chewable tablets instead of capsles. What's your opinion on this type of medication, does it really work?  May I just ask, is it OK for a dog to eat there own poop?  I know it grose, but I heard a lot of stories.  She's not sick at all.  She's very intergetic for her tiny frame.

    Thanks for any advice..!!
