Thanks everyone but I wasn't looking for responses. I didn't mean for it to be a dramatic goodbye –but I am a member of this community and wanted anyone who cared to know why I wasn't participating.

Oh, and if one has a well behaved dog, why would they *need Cesar*? It's great your dog is so wonderful (and i'm not being punchy here). But for those who don't have well behaved dogs...well then.

This does nothing but poison the board and does not provide any useful information.
 
It doesn't take a genius to spot the those who constantly come here to get a rise out of the Cesar supporters (who only want to discuss) and those who take the bait and do their part in the endless argueing instead of sharing helpful, personal experiences in order to find a common ground of discussion.
 
This isn't about winning. It's obvious to me who comes here to play a tune on their fiddle, and who dances to the tune instead of just taking the fiddle away or putting in ear plugs.
 
Awsomedog, I know several here have baited you, but the major (public) player in this has left this area of the board. Just spit the worm out and move on. I'm glad you are staying, but this is a nonproductive engagement of battle, and it's getting old.
 
Now, I'm going to move up a thread I started in order to discuss what I have found to be an important aspect of interacting with a dog, but which was pushed aside in favor of the emotional drama.

Sorry Angelique et others.  It was childish and unproductive of me to give in to the impulse to post like that.  Twice.  Maybe I'm just pushing it to see whether the mods ever step in here, which I very much doubt!  I agree with you that the "us v them" attitude that many people have (on both "sides") is tiresome and not conducive to open minded and intelligent debate. 
 
I disagree with you that anyone has baited A-dog.  People have tried over and over to have productive discussions with him only to have him respond derisively and blast other posters apart.  The block button is great, but has its limits - you can still see it when the thread is poisoned by someones comments.  This area has been far more pleasant, interesting and polite lately and I can just see that going right out of the window - and it happens in conjunction with a certain someone making a come back..... Seems no thread they participate in stays polite and on topic. Definately what I would describe as a "forum troll".

I'm not starting my own Goodbye thread.  I'll just add to this one.  Perhaps Angelique, trevell and espence will oblige me by having endless interesting and fulfilling debates with A in this area.  And I'll see the rest of you on other, pleasanter areas of the board.

Did you somehow miss the post right above yours from PC, or did you simply not understand it?

In that the post your quoted is a couple weeks old, I'm wondering if there is a REASON to quote it and reopen this thread?

I, too, fail to see the reasoning to re-open this thread.

I couldn't understand why some one would come along and make such a statement long after a mod said...knock it off.
