Aggressive Dog

People, this is not a nice thing to do....we call that "Hounding " a person.
When certain members have been asked to provide info, or pics, nothing came of it.
Certain other members jumped to full defensive mode........so...I am thinking, this poster will answer when good and ready, or maybe not at all...........some of you should be familiar with that method....[]

So I'll ask this of anyone who cares to answer, then I'll tell you some of (not all) how I handled it. You have someone who has a human and dog aggressive 140 lb French Mastiff. You arrive at their home, how would you approach and work with such a dog?

Emphasis added by me btw.  Perhaps he didn't intend to tell everyone in the first place?  I am sure he has, or will, share this info with the people he chooses to via PM or email.  If I'd spotted that earlier I wouldn't have kept checking back for nearly a week and 4 pages of irrelevant discussion.  Duh.  I should have read the OP more carefully.

Come on awsomedog, now they all think your hanging or shocking the dog or beating it into submission and that's why you won't share with the general board. (well they do now anyway..... sneaky me eh.)  So you might as well share it with the group.  We won't bite.  Probably.  [sm=devil.gif]

I interpretted the OP as Awsomedog will share some of the information but not all the information of his methods.

Isn't it odd how this suddenly turns to hounding when it was awsomedog who said that an answer would be forthcoming?
I seem to remember a real case of "hounding" not too long ago that did not subside even when the question was legitimately answered.  Although, now, in hindsight, I am not surprised that a college education in an appropriate subject combined with apprenticeship doesn't pass for "qualifications" in a world where there is so much disdain for education and reliance on mumbo jumbo.  Is that perhaps the incident you refer to as "familiar"?   []
