I'm glad to hear that he's doing better. I hope that he continues to improve.

congrats on the headway, and i just wanted to say that pic of him pointing is JUST GORGEOUS!!! wow!!!

thank you. of course that was right after he got his butt and legs clipped for neutering (i almost strangled my vet! he had just grew his feathers out!). Now he has a little more hair. i love that pic. he's just doin what he loves.

I am jealous!! Ooops! Ahh how cute, its OK I don't mind really"

I remember that thread.... unfortunately it didn't really help me! I already understood the value of "no touch....etc", it was getting the message across to the rest of the family that I was struggling with.

My BIL is the first person to do what I asked and the first time it proved to me that it would work. It works for me and my DH, we ignore and he goes away but ... EVERYONE ELSE is exactly how you discribe, they have to touch or say "down" or something. They just can't ignore and turn away.

If a pup has been pulled from the litter early, socializing him with other puppies and some safe adult dogs, who can tell him off nicely, is really critical to his development.
