We recently got a new dog, Gucci who is a 2 year old bullmastiff cross german shepherd off my brother. Previously he was stuck in a tiny yard, not many places to run and play. We managed to get him out of his old habits of stealing food and chewing on everything but he seems to have developed a new one,
barking.
There is a park behind our yard and our street is generally pretty busy because the train station is near by. Gucci barks at people walking past, if there is someone in the park behind us and when he sees a train go past (generally every 20 minutes) and unfortunately we have had some nasty complaints off a neighbour who doesn't understand we are trying to train him.
We don't mind Gucci barking at incoming people because we like having our personal warning system

But he doesn't seem to know when to stop like our other dog, Connor. He just keeps barking until we tell him to stop and quite often that still doesn't work. We don't want him to be absolutely quiet but he needs to learn when to bark and when to stop.
Any tips would be very helpful!
The second problem is with Connor my Lab, he is 13 years old (very good for his age - hearing, health, physically - all healthy) he has never had a second dog around for more than a day or so. When Gucci arrived Connor was clearly the dominant dog which was fine. Most days are ok but lately (its been about 1 month and half since we put them together) Connor has started to become incredibly aggressive - only towards Gucci. My dad has had to break up a few of the fights. We aren't too sure why, everything is still normal, Connor sleeps inside at night because its been cold and we dont like him at his age sleeping outside and it gives him some time to himself away from the pup, nothing has changed since Gucci moved in so we aren't too sure what is causing the
aggression.
Again thank you for any and all help on both situations
