We currently have 3 pits. 1 9 month old and 2 6 month olds. Up until about 2.5 months ago they all went to work with Bobby. Then they just got too big to all be wondering around a retirement center that they have to stay at home now. We kennel the 6 month olds and put a muzzle on the 9 month old. Due to them being Pits, we can not leave them together unsupervised (you never know what could happen). The 9 month old WILL NOT go in a kennel. Its hell trying to get him in it in the first place (even with treats and toys) and once he is in he howls continuously until we let him out. So then we figured we could leave the other 2 in kennels since they dont mind and the 9 month old could just have the run of the house. BAD IDEA! He chews while we are gone, so now he wears a muzzle. He will chew anything, carpet, shoes, clothes, pop cans, computer mice, pillows, play in the trash, everything! He Never chews while we are home, he doesnt even try. But its like as soon as we leave a switch in his head gets turned on and he goes nuts! So my question is, does anyone know how to correct this? I hate to put the muzzle on him, he hides and puts his nose in the corner so I cant put it on. We have tried putting everything up so he cant get to it, but then he chews on the carpet. We have also tried leaving the radio and tv on. Does anyone have any ideas?
