I recently rescued a 5 week old pit bull mix
uppy. When I got him, he was not abused and not in terrible health either. I took him to the vet and he had hook worms and is now better. I've had him 2 weeks now. But the problem is he doesn't seem to wan't much of anything to do with me or anyone else in the house. I have two other dogs, 3 years old and 8 months old that he adores. He plays, barks, prances around the yard and loves his toys. When you approach him or even come near him he run away, under the table or bed. If you extend your hand out to him he backs away. Once you have him in your arms he is loving, wags his tail and kisses you. But this is only for a few seconds and he squirms to get away. I'm concerened that he may be a little stand offish when he is older. I shower my dogs with love and affection 24/7! Any suggestions on what the problem may be and what I should do? [
