    Urine smell

    Does anyone know a good solution to eliminate dog urine smell in your carpet. I have a two year old Chi that likes to pee on the carpet at times. When I walk in the front door of the house you know when she has peed.
    She has just recently started doing this as she has always peed outside or on her pee-pads.
    Any information would be appreciated.

    Welcome, Petastic is great how old is she? I would get her to a vet w/ a urine sample to check for a UTI. Anytime a dog starts doing something it's never done before I get the medical stuff out first.Then training.To get a urine speciman from her I use one of those aluminum pie tins have a leash on her when you take her out in the morning and as she squats slide the pie tin under,  for a male same way just put the tin on the ground when he lifts his leg,take the urine put it in a sealed container and refigerate it until your vet appointment. Only get the urine the morning of the vet appt.

    I like Pet Ordor and Stain Eliminator.  I think you can find this product in any Pet Supplies "Plus" and alot of small feed stores carry it too.  I've tried a ton of stain/odor remover products and I've found this is the best for both stains and especially odor.
    Definetely take you cutie to the vet.  Chi's are genetically prone to weak bladders and kidney issues, but then again, they are also very hard to house train.
