    Territorial pooping??

I was just wondering if there was any such thing as a dog marking it's territory by pooping. Kaiser eats canidae and usually poops 2-3 times a day, and it's always solid. His problem is when we get out to the dog park or the neighborhood park. I know he doesn't have to poop and he will poop like 4 times. The other day at the dog park he pooped when he hadn't even eaten his breakfast. Also, when he forces it, it's sort of runny and i have a hard time picking it up. I'm just wondering if there's anything i can do, because i hate letting him off his leash if i know he's instantly going to go poop!

Ha ha, Rory does the same thing and she's a girl! I do know that exercise makes them poop but Rory usually does it right when we get to the beach. I dont know why though.....goofy dogs!

I wrote about this before as it is something common to my pup as well.  He'll poop 1 or 2 times at the park, usually it's pretty runny.  I pesonally think that it's a natural response to adrenalin, the fight-or-flight reflex.  Just in this case it's more of a "lets get rid of the extra weight" response, "that way I'm lighter and can run faster."  It may be territorial, but I think it's just a natural response to exercise stimuli and a need to be light to play faster or harder.
