My pup keeps growling

• My pup keeps growling Lance Reed Posted : 5/25/2006 3:03:47 PM My pup is coming on well, meeting other dogs, mouthing has decreased etc...   very pleased with her...     However, when we first had her, you couldn't cuddle her close to you, or she would growl and 'wipp' her head around as to bit...   But i have been smoothing her on all her vunerable spots, (neck, head, backend etc)  given her plenty of hand on all over body massage...         However, if you pick her up she still tends to growl, and most so if i am out with her and go to pick her up, she detests!   its like if she doesn't want to do something she'll growl and spin her head....   Any suggestion's on this problem?   (she is 10 weeks) LIKE 1 REPLY 171 VIEWS LAST POST LUVNTZUS Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. For a 10 week old puppy to be showing that kind of behavior, it will only get much much worse without management. One forum I would recommend asking the same questions as above is My Smart Puppy and The Family Dog, Inc. I belong to that forum and it's run by a well known and respected dog trainer, there are also several other trainers that moderate and post there all the time. Everyone on the forum is extremely friendly and helpful- I think they would be able to give you some good advice!!
