    pom pups

I have two pom pups, 3 1/2 months old. The smallest one is always "nursing" on my arm. What does this mean? She eats and drink like a normal puppy and is healthy.

    Hi Sherran,
Please post pup's pic's. We love puppy pic's.
As for *nursing* on your arm. I would say she is just being a puppy. Insecure a little and suckling comforts her and she is just being a mouthy pup.[:)]

Aww what angels.  I have a pom too!  The nursing is pretty common, but more so in younger pups (before 10 weeks).  It's like a kid sucking on his thumb, just for reensurance.  She'll probably grow out of it eventually.

Your puppies are so cute! They look just like little toys!
Anyway, it sounds like your little girl needs a nice little chewy toy. When she starts "nursing" on your arm, replace your arm with a toy that she'll really like. Eventually, she'll decide the toy is really cool. Especially if it makes squeaky noises.
