• Molly is such a ham marynh Posted : 3/6/2006 6:54:06 PM Weather permitting, when I come home at lunch I take Molly for a short walk. Today she INSISTED on carrying her sheepskin slipper with her [sm=proud.gif] like a toddler with a blankie Molly had to carry that toy in her mouth the entire walk. Certainly got us noticed...one lady came to a complete halt to watch the cute puppy walking down the road with a slipper in her mouth (this is a dog toy made to look like a slipper), the town cop who slowed down (probably wondering if Molly was breaking some town ordinance) and waved, the truck driver who pointed and laughed. And Molly was strutting along with that darned slipper in her mouth. • marynh Posted : 3/7/2006 8:14:09 AM I used to know a guy who was Marines Special Forces and in the town where he lived (next town to me) he had a Doberman who would walk to the baker every morning (accompanied by either his owner or caregiver when his owner was out of the country), be given a paper bag with one plain donut in it and then carry it home before he was allowed to eat it.
