Hi Guys,
So my black Lab Dozer used to be a bad barker when he was confined to his Kennell (large metal crate) he used to bark like mad and it was becoming a problem as I live in an apartment. I came here are you guys gave me some great suggestions which I used and Dozer stopped barking excessively (he was about 4 months old at the time).
However, now he's started to bark even worse! He's 9 months old now and he goes nuts when he's in his crate. He literally doesn't stop barking, it's constant and very, very loud, much worse than when he was younger.
I can't figure it out, he was doing fantasic for like 5 months, he would whine a little but never bark. Now just lke 2 weeks ago he started continuously barking. If we are home he barks and literally won't stop, if we leave he will bark for like 10 mintues then stop. Or at least I THINK he doesn't bark after that, we live on the 2nd floor of the apartment so one day I left the house and stood near the front enterence to see if I could hear him but I had to go to work so I couldn't stick around for too long.
I have read before that dogs go through a sort or adolescent stage around his age and can be difficult but grow out of it but I would like this to stop sooner than later.
Here is the previous thread I made on this issue. Any help would be very apprecated, thanks!
