    potty in the crate

Ok so my 15 week old puppy had been off to a bad start with his potty training but up until to day we had 6 days accident free. now i know hes to young to be housebroke but i was feeling good about things. earlier today he tinkled on the floor. no biggie accidents happen right? ok so heres where it gets bizarre ... he had just been outside, yes he went, we played for just a few minutes then he sat down for a few. then he got up, walked over to his crate, walked in and proceeded to pee in his crate! he usually goes to the door to outside. he seriously walked over looked right at us and peed in his crate! what is that all about? i thought they would rather not soil their den? he was not locked in. i cant believe he just did that!?

HI, hang in there don't fret! Puppies and even adult dogs when learning can have set backs. This will pass, you need to just keep up what you are doing and most important be consistent! One day it will all click. The other suggestion is double check to make sure he doesn't have any medical issues such as a urinary tract infection if he continues to go very often. But otherwise just stay the course and things will work out. Puppies take time. Good luck and please keep us posted.
