Just to let you know, that Dad is happier than he's been in months. He said that she comes better when he calls her Brittany than Birdie, so he's going to keep the name Brittany. He says when he drops the leash and lets her go, she stays very close to him. If he takes it off she loves to run, but comes back immediately if he whistles. He says she loves chicken pot pie and roasted potato wedges too (HA!) but still eats her dog food well. He is tickled because she lays flat on the ground to eat or drink and has never seen a dog do that. She stays very close to him in the house and he loves that. He claims she loves the same TV shows that he does as well. She sleeps on the floor as close to him as she can - she won't get up in the bed for him, but it is elevated to make it easier for him to get in and out, so may be too high for her. He is in love and I can't thank you enough for getting them together.
