Sadie has peed on 2 different couches in the past few days. She had done this once before back in August, but with 2 different couches, its not a matter of left over scent. Any ideas why my couch?
I have 2 theories. 1, is that she has a uti and is choosing the couch because it is soft. (Hard ceramic floor in that room.) I plan to bring a urine sample to the vet.
What I really think though is that maybe it's because of the animals that have been around. We get deer and the usually critters in our. She has been hyper, and looking out the windows like crazy. But still, why the couch? Again, is it the softness factor? Would a fixed female mark territory like that for varies animals?
