If she has a bone and tried to guard the privilage is lost and the bone will be taken away.

I`m thankful the girls don`t guard the toys, bones or treats. I have them sit side by side and wait for a treat. They do so good. Nobody trys to get the other ones treat.

My sisters dog will guard her. While they were over and the dogs were playing in the yard with us her little mix would sit on her feet and lift lip at the other dogs.

I told my sis to immediately move away from her dog when she did this. It took only a couple of times and that little dog stopped because she realized her actions resulted in herself being left and ignored...the very opposite of what she wanted. She is a smart little PB mix. She began to focus less and less on where her mistress was and more on exploring the yard and interacting with the other dogs.

I have decided that both the girls are going to start NILIF not just Molly. Molly may have a guarding problem but Bella has a problem with being overbearing which I believe is why Mollys has a guarding problem. Maybe its not Molly at all. I call Molly to sit on my lap. Bella pushes herself not invited on Molly and I. That is when Molly gets mad. Anyway I`m new to all this even though I have had three female at one time living with me together and never had any problems that I am having now with these two. I guess time will tell how things go.
