Ahh...it's deja vu.  I got a little headache reading these amazon reviews.  It was reminiscent of the bigger ones I got  from similar past threads on dog.com.

Well, without checking out the link, there are two thoughts that come to mind.

Owners often look like their pets.

Owners are attracted to dogs that are like themselves.

I have joked that I, like my dog, am half Siberian Husky. I prefer the cold. I was working a new school several years ago. It was on the side of a hill. It was January, 16 F, with a 20 mph north wind. My project manager asked me how I can stand it.

I told her, "I'm part Siberian Husky. When it gets colder, I just bark louder."

How about a dog and an owner with glow-in-the-dark eyes and thick hair (fur)?

Yes, his head is about as big as mine. He is 26 inches to the shoulder, 36 inches long, not including tail. My wife, who is 5' 5.5" tall, Shadow can put his paws on her shoulder. But he only weighs 65 lbs. But he did knock her down, once, in his happiness to see her. Since then, we have trained "off" to avoid that.

The black one, Happy (1998-08) was our first, and he bonded most w/ me.  Hr prematurely had grey muzzle, as I have a very grey beard now (pic is 2005 just after getting Red and Peanut, Sissy was 6 here).

So in a mirror, I guess Happy is the one most likely to have reflected me.

Heidi is a willful, independent rebel.  Hmmm.....now I realize the attraction.  Wink

Now, see the resemblence below in Bruder and myself.  We are smiling the same smile.  ROFL

Go see my page for one of Sioux and me together: http://www.pawsforpraise.com/About_the_Trainer.html.  We're both smart (our IQ's are within several digits of one another LOL - me at 163 and Sioux at 158 on a doggy IQ test), both have thick hair, both like coffee, enjoy "sneezing" together, and while she has brown eyes and I have blue, we do both have long noses...

Thanks for sharing that link and for all your good doggy works.

Does your dog really drink coffee?  About all me and Peanut or Red share in common is love of food.

All my dogs get an occasional lap of coffee.  Sioux feels that it is her job to clean my cup before I put it in the dishwasher each morning;-)

I would say that boxers are my match 100%!!

I am a very outgoing, happy person that loves being around other dogs. Dogs fill my life with joy (more so than some people do!)  Marley is very much the same way as I am...very outgoing with any dog that he meets, but not so much people. Kind of timid when meeting new people and usually are a pretty good judge of character.

Him and I both like being outdoors and doing anything that is fun and active. Very devoted to our peoples/families.

My ex always said that he whines a lot like I do, so he must have gotten it from his mama....whateva THAT means! lol
