Not anymore than nylon would. IMO leather rubs less than nylon. A suede lining would work well, on the backside of the leather straps.

I didnt put it in the drawing... but an I think there should be 3 buckles total, one on both sides of the girth above the O rings to adjust it, and then one on the strap that goes between the front legs, so it can be tightend to the right length to make sure it stays low on the chest and doesnt ride up when pulled.

 No, it's an air scent dog. They work off leash and hardly even wear collars when doing it. It's just when the owner takes him for walks outside of doing SAR stuff.

I'm going to say the Easy Walk as welll (and I LOVE sporns generally).  But the easy walk -- you attach the lead in *front* but that front strap rests *just* above the armpits so it's really low in front.  Zero pressure on the neck.

The idea is good, but the design of the harness isnt. I have seen SOOOO many dogs escape Easy walk harnesses, even when fitted properly. Ive also personally seen a dog with armpits rubbed raw from the Easywalk harness... which is another reason why I would never use it (OK so I might be a bit biased, I dont use anything but leather on Bailey)

If you want a "no pull" harness that actually fits, just get a regular standard style nylon harness and

Not that you need any more projects ;)   She currently is using a SENSE-able harness (like an easy walk) and man, works great!
