    Intro to Agility Fun

I got a nearly two year old belgian back from one of my litters a couple weeks ago. She seemed like she had a lot of potential for agility, so I thought I'd work on it a bit while I look for a home for her. So we went to a Intro class yesterday and gave it a try - she did great! She especially seemed to love the jumping. I took a few videos and thought I'd share them. Not bad for a dog who hasn't had much training beyond pet obedience and conformation!

Are you serious?  That is really that dog's first time seeing any agility equipment???  You have a NATURAL on your hands, then, and I hope you keep up the good work!  Big Smile  She looks like she really loves it and that type of dog will learn fast.

    Very impressive start!

Those videos were taken about 35 minutes after she was first introduced to all the stuff :) I have been around agility for a long time (started playing with it before it was an AKC sport) and she has to have some of the best natural ability of any dog I've worked with. I was looking to place her in a pet or performance home but I may just have to hold out for a performance home and continue working with her myself until one comes along.

Well done! I can't wait to see him at the higher levels!

I would hold out for that performance home, because she's got great natural talent!  Very very impressive videos, and I loved seeing how much she was truly enjoying herself. Smile
