    I just...

Switched Lex's food over to Blue Buffalo. He has been on Pro plan sensitive stomach for a few months, but I am just not happy with it. His poops are firm but ears ears are slightly red ( he has an allergy to chicken) and his coat is somewhat dull to me. BB is one of the few food we havent tried yet. I grabbed the Lamb one. Hopefully this one will be the last switch lolStick out tongue

Did you *just* switch him to it?

It normally takes a few weeks to notice hair issues; though an allergy reaction can show immediately.

Funny though, my dogs go from having a shiney coat to feeling a little dry within 2 days, and vice versa, their main diet is almost always the same...homecooked chicken, turkey, beef, etc mixed with a premix of veggies.

Honestly think it has more to do with the winter, and our house moisture condition based at any given time or day.

This morning, Rivers hair was all nice and soft, by this afternoon, after playing in the bright sun, getting rolled around by other dogs at the dog park, it felt dry.

Give the Blue 4-6 weeks.  They also have a nice fish and sweet tater formula that my guys LOVE.

I know soooo many people who have gone to Blue and are thrilled with the results.  It does take some time for the body to rid itself of the old and adjust to the new but that's the same with any food.  Good luck with this.  I'm hoping it'll be the last switch you need to make as well.

Thanks! I just bought the bag last night so he has only had two meals of it so far. He likes it =)
