Both those products look nice.
Sme skinny minnies are that way (assuming they are healthy) because they need more/better food. You've tried for a year to add more protein and whatnot with sort of meh results.
Some hard keepers just plain need more calories per bite of food. I've got one of those. You can try something like the Evo - give it a week trial, don't buy a huge bag. Orijen, I think, has a lot of kcals per serving also. Not all grain frees are concentrated feeds. That doesn't mean they aren't good - they just may not work for your hard keeper.
Some dogs have inherited a genetic tendency to need carbs to maintain condition - working breeds in particular. Ted is like this. Ben was like this when he was working. I had an 18 pound BC who when she was intact, literally could not eat enough raw food to keep from looking like I'd starved her (I always had to take her out in public with some other dog of mine to prove it was her, not my managment!). Carbs pack a lot of calories in a small space, and so it takes less feed to get more energy in.
So if the Evo doesn't work, go ahead and try the carby feeds. I may have to put in a stock of that food you posted myself for emergency feeding. Isn't this a great place? If you hadn't posted that I might never have looked at that - or the Precise!
