Ok this weekend was the best weekend ever for me and Kota in agility.
Kota and I began training in agility back in Jan of '05. We had our first competition in Nov of '05 and he Q'd 2 times in TDAA, so I thought we were ready. We did our first USDAA trial in Dec of '05 and boy was I wrong! It took until '06 to get our first Q's in Level 1. We didn't finish our level 1 titles until this year. (That means we had a total of 12 Q's) This past weekend? We just finished 3 of our level 2 titles!!!! It took us less than a year to finish out 3 titles! I'm so proud of my boy and the progress we've made this past year.
We've struggled all along with distraction issues, stress issues and everything! I've learned a lot and hopefully we can continue to do well and earn our Level 3 titles before he needs to retire. He's almost 10 years old!!
