I'm not a big fan of depending on food for GAG supplements as it always ends up being ridiculously low (a 65 pound dog would have to eat about six POUNDS of this food to reach therapeutic levels of glucosamine).

Other than that, and the fact that it's "busy" (busy foods make me cringe as the owner of an allergy dog, but I know that's not a problem for most people), it seems like a nice, particularly low fat choice.  I don't remember what I've heard about Dogswell - something specific lately but can't remember whether it was positive or negative.  Hey, how's that for helpful advice?

My mom's picky, arthritic dog likes the dogswell chicken strips. They make Happy Hips and Breathies and all that good stuff. None of it has enough to be therapuedic, but it's yummy.... I bet he'd like that food, too.

I honestly do not trust Dogswell.  I've actually dried my own chicken for the dogs.  I know where the chicken comes from, how it's fed & what's put into the chicken.  It's super easy too.

I don't trust their treats as I believe most of them are made in China.

Yeah, I was going to say that but I wasn't positive of the fact so I chose not to say why I didn't trust them.  Anyway, I dehydrate chicken breast & then refridgerate them afterwards.  The kids love them!
