this must be the new thing...very odd. What do folks think about this new trend, I am thinking no good will come from it...but I guess it worked out okay for Van Patten and Newman?

Gina - i just say this too...it says that all proceeds will go towards "at risk dogs".  Not sure if that means all or just the profits...hopefully it will help and be more than just a way to extend her empire...when does this woman sleep for goodness sake!

Yeah, me too.  I always laugh when you hear her in an interview declaring how she still makes dinner every night, etc. etc.  Yeah, right.  Don't get me wrong, I actually like her, but she is going to burn herself out...

She has treats too. Sidenote ~ I'm watching her now and I can't believe that she cooks with her wedding ring on. I grew up in a large family of cooks and I was always told to never wear jewelry when cooking because jewelry harbors germs and bacteria - even if you wash your hands first.

*** Van Patten and Paul Newman's companies produce QUALITY foods using human-grade ingredients and they both are sincerely into animal welfare. For Rachel Ray this is nothing more than a GIMMICK. I truly doubt she is pesonally involved in  ANY animal causes on her own. This stuff doesn't come close and is right up there w/Kibbles 'n Bits and Old Roy.  That ingredient list is disgusting and nothing but loads of poor quality grains,  ANIMAL FAT... from who knows where and it also contains MENADIONE.

Pure garbage w/a celebrity endorsement.  The "Dog Whisperer's " food may be 'organic' but it's still crap as well.

the dog whisperer's food is expensive..you can get something better for cheaper. I wouldn't, however, call it "crap". It's much better than other foods out there.
