Can u take dog food to a lab to be tested to make sure it is healthy etc?  If so where can I find a lab like this.  I feed my dog some new food and she seemed strange for a day or two, so I stopped feeding her the new food

I'm not sure, but it's normal for a dog to take days, sometimes even a week or two, to adjust to a new food.  Mine will get diarrhea for a few days and it takes a week or two to fully adjust and figure out exactly how much to feed them.  If you switched without a gradual change, then it's very likely the dog is sick from the change.

When I fed my dogs a can of food that made them vomit/have diarhhea with mucus in it, I spoke with my vet about this exact thing. He said that you definitely can, but the tests run around 350 dollars and can take "several weeks" to get results back. I'm sure if you take a sample of the food or stomach contents (if she is vomiting) to your vet they could send it off. I opted not to do this, however, and the dogs recovered fine on their own. I agree with Liesje, it's probably the switch. I was amazed that less than a quarter can could make my dogs so sick. I've never had problems like that from other types of food and have just decided it's probably too rich for them and not to feed it again.
