Proud of My Belle's Agility Progress

I am bragging about my girl! She is doing so well and heck she has a MAJOR handicap....ME!!Big Smile

Last night was the last lesson in our recent agility session. We took two different classes with her, agility drills (sequencing and handler training) and a weaves class. Belle weaves pretty good, but I wanted to solidify them. It worked! Last night in our drills class we had to a diagonal line with a cross behind, heading directly for a tunnel, but instead of taking the tunnel do a left hairpin turn to the weaves, which meant it would be an offside entry for the dog. BELLE NAILED IT !!!!! WOO HOO!!!! I was so proud of her.  Her speed is increasing, and last night we picked up another useful tool to assist with that. She hardly ever pops out anymore.

I have to also say how happy I am with our training facility and trainer. When we first went there Belle behaved like Eeyore, ears down, head down and "running" an agility course just wasn't happening. Now she never drops her ears, she stays up and focused and she LOVES this game.

Thank you for allowing me to brag on my girl!

Whoo hoo!!!!  That's great news!  It's so much fun when our dogs "come out of their shells" so to speak.  I am working on my dog Tasha to get her more out of her shell outside and in busy situations.  Congrats on all the hard work.
