Only our 2nd class and Woobie gets sent home with a jump! Guess all our silly "Flyball in a hallway" practice did some good after all! He's catching on super quick.

You have to understand, this is a shelter pup from possibly feral parents who is terrified of children, gets explosive nervous diarrhea in new environments and is still pretty shy. I decided to wait and not try agility for a while because he's afraid of the obstacles (especially that dog-devouring tunnel contraption!) but he's super fast, loves to outrun other dogs and loves being around them. It's been a year of socialization, counter-conditioning and training, constantly exposing him to new environments and challenging situations. Now he adjusted to the venue after one class, wags his tail at the other people there and even took a treat from one!!! (He's not food motivated when stressed, so that's huge too!) So, I am a very proud mama today!
