The recipe includes, beef, sweet potatoes, broccoli, kale, spinach, pumpkin, and turnip.  Various oils and supplements.  We still have loose smelly stools, and he has awful breath.  never had that before

This recipe looks good, but a bit heavy on the veggie matter for many IBD dogs.  Maybe you could tweak it, so as not to have as much vegetables?  This would give my IBD boy the runs for sure.  Just a thought.

Thank you!  I will definately look into that supplement.

I thought the same thing about the amount of veggies in the above quote.  Willow would of probably been at the ER after that--unfortunately I'm not exagerating.

Yes, Dusty has the runs.  I've tried tweaking a bit, not getting it right yet. He was actually eating dirt today, feed them better than us, and he honestly has the nerve to eat dirt!  We'll keep each other posted.  sorry, I was hoping to help.

Emma gets her l-glutamine through eating green tripe. She loves it! If Willow could tolerate it,  it would be a great addition. I don't know how she is about "new" things, though. You can get Tripette in lamb, or beef. Canine Caviar carries venison tripe. It's foul, so she might not even touch it, LOL.

A funny thing has happened, with Em, lately. She's been getting a little bit of rice (mostly in treats). Her stool is absolutely the best it's ever been. I guess she needs something that's in the rice. Weirdo.
