    I Have A Clever Dog..

I wont speak to soon, but Mya has really impressed us over the past few days, she can already sit, stay and give her paw. I am really happy, shes a smart little girl, she is also very good when i say no, and come. I know what people say about Huskys being v.intelligent but can be hard to train as they only do what they want. So far i think we both get a good deal, i play and teach, she learns and makes mummy proud :) a win win situation... 10 weeks thats madness, Sam took a little longer i think and Adam had to take him to obedience to pick up some things. Never the less in my eyes his a v. clever boy and i will be so happy if Mya is half as good as him. I will keep you posted, Wish me luck...

    Oh how sweet, congrats.
Although dont count your eggs before they hatch, ha ha.
Rory was the same way, I was amazed, she was great until she hit the teenager stage and the stuborness kicked in. She has really tought me the differnece between disobediance and plain old stubborness. Thats what happens when we have such smart dogs. They catch on quickly and catch on to your moods and play off of them the lil brats. Almost too smart for their own good, lol!
From what I hear huskies tend to be a little more well mannered but with Rory if I let up on her obediance for a little while she notices and runs with it. She is 19 months and we still practice her basic commands. But at least now you know you can try out neat little tricks with her and see how far you can take it. There is nothing more frusterating then looking at your dog and trying to convey to them what you want from them. You just know if you could speak dog language that they would happily comply but sometimes the language barrier gets in the way. Seems like you wont have that prob with your fur baby......keep us posted and congrats again!
