choke collar = bad obedience class?

When we got her she was very timid. Didn't like kids and was wary of people. Now she will play with kids (supervised of course!) and will let people pet her. She obviously wasn't socialized at all. We take her out a LOT, out to restaurants, to the dog park, to festivals, that kind of stuff. IMHO, I don't think you should leave. Everyone has an opinion, all vary and it is never a bad thing to have a differing opinion. I would not expect one way to work for all dogs and people.
