May I Brag?

• May I Brag? Julitza Posted : 6/19/2006 11:28:56 AM Lol, just wanted to give an update on Lizzie's training. For some reason we started obedience a tad bit late, but its better late than never!   Well anyway, just wanted to update that Lizzie has an A+ on her sit! She learned in just one 15 minute session to sit, thanks to some yummy treats I made her (got the recipe here). So now she is getting a treat only half the time with praise, and the other half just praise.   Now I have to work on her sit stay because she is one hyper girl! Any tips? • jones Posted : 6/19/2006 3:23:28 PM With stays, always make it easy. Never go on to the next "level" (longer stays or bigger distractions) until your dog is ready. Go backwards a level if she's breaking too often.
