Jennie--I read a little about Abady and the guy who started the company.  He bred and showed "Bov's" and from what I've read about the breed they can be pretty aggressive.

That said, dog_whisper, you keep saying we are supposed to be "listening" to you.  I haven't read one thing that wasn't a complete waste of my time to read.  You're bragging about yourself, what good does that do me??  Also, the very first post,  about what's "bitten" you?  What am I supposed to be getting out of this exactly??  Cause, from what I'm reading now, I'm NOT getting a thing that will help my dog with training.  I'm not "HATING" you either, just questioning what the heck is going on here.

Take one sec... Think about how stupid you are if you have been watching me and dont know what im talking about cause this is about the last i can handle.

Bounce me keep me i DONT CARE, you people are ignorant and dont deserve to even own dogs.  Do yourselves a favor and shoot yourselves in the head!! But first give your dog to someone that knows!!!!
    • Gold Top Dog
No, I haven't been "watching you".  This is the first time I'm seeing you on here at all.  That's your problem, you assume everyone is listening and watching you.  Well, guess what, I've got better things to do.  And, I may be stupid, but you haven't enlightened me one bit.

You SAY you don't care but just you have certainly have made a big fuss over it EVERY time someone wasn't agreeing with you or "watching" you.

You're abusive and that's why I'm sure by Monday you will be gone.  As for my dog or any other dog, if you're this abusive on a forum I can only imagine what you do in person.

AND ANOTHER THING---GIVE MY DOG TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT???    Show me how I'm stupid and you are not.

What i care about is the dog and proper training.

all i have seen you advocate are -R types of training. if you sincerely cared about dogs, wouldnt you investigate +R training methods and leave the harsher methods for the true trouble cases where nothing else has worked?

we took one of our dogs to a trainer that used  -R training (advocated the use of prong and chole collars). that was the worst thing for her. she had been abused and neglected before we got her, and the one thing that type of training did for her was to make her shyness and timidness WORSE and she learned NOTHING! on the other hand, +R training has helped her to become a more loving and trusting companion. she will now approach visitors to our house for some attention, instead of hiding like she used to do.

We can only hope. >-\/-< This person has ALREADY been banned from another forum I go to for ABUSING the members there, threatening, spamming, and the like. I believe that he is a liar and a troll, and has no business owning a dog if he is REALLY like this offline.

I trained my dogs just fine without his abusive spam tainting every thread on this forum and others. >-.-;<

    *Waits*

Does the block button only work for PMs? If not, I say we ALL push the block button and start ignoring him.

Also, I don't see how being bitten by lots of dogs is something to be proud of, nor do I see how it makes you a trainer.
    • Gold Top Dog
Well, as much as I'd like to block him, I really want to know what it is that I don't KNOW!  I took in a poorly bred,  unsocialized chow, who was chained to a tree for the first two years of her life.  Please, enlighten me, oh great trainer.
    • Gold Top Dog
I guess it is best that we keep the lurkers informed... it's just so annoying lmao...

But I am with you on that. My dog Eevee had serious aggression problems a few months ago, and I was able to train them out of her without hurting her, getting bitten, or other dogs getting bitten/me being sued lol... I would consider that a success as well. >^^;<
    • Gold Top Dog
Well, I guess that was obviously a big troll since my tough questions aren't getting answered.  He/she/it only wants to babble on and on about how great they are.

Oh, yeah, you've done so great with Eevee, no doubt about it.

But, if someone is going to go so far as to say I should be dead from ignorance he/she better be able to answer me.  But, I guess not.
    • Gold Top Dog
oh, do they ever hurt. they have a strong bite, normaly used as a dutch- sweedish  fielding or police dog.  they get between 90 to 110 lbs.

The Bouvier des Flanders is a Franco-Belgian dog.  It is not Dutch or Swedish.

mal 'abv' is a dutch dog that looks like a german shep

A Mal is a Belgian dog as well...not dutch!

Im not a fake, i realy train police and family dogs.

Who do you train for?  What is the name of your company?  What police departments are using your dogs?  What are you credentials?

YOU are not trainers. Real trainers know what i typed WORKS!!!!

Actually I AM a real trainer.  I own 5 training facilities, have a Master's in Applied Animal Behavior, over 30 Police Departments are using our dogs, the US military orders 50 dogs a year from us, we work with thousands of family dogs per year, and we absolutely pride ourselves on the kinds of dogs we put out, and the humane way in which they are trained!
    Check us out at [linkhttp://www.lastresortk9academy.com]www.lastresortk9academy.com[/link]

Please share your credentials with us....

I totally agree with willowchow, what are you saying works? Being bitten by a whole bunch of dogs makes you a great dog trainer? Why do you think they bit you in the first place?

I haven't heard you tell us one thing that can help us train our dogs. I don't care what you do or how excellent you are at being bitten by dogs, leave us alone.

The people on this forum are the people who care more about their dogs then anyone else I know. Why else would they spend their time helping, sharing, and contributing on this dog forum? It's certainly not because they don't care about dogs. You're not helping, so leave.

And yes, if your really a dog trainer, what ARE your credentials?
    • Gold Top Dog
Mic, I have been meaning to ask you something - I am planning on going back to college... but I don't see any colleges that list animal-related stuff like that. Do they not list it? Because Animal Behavior is one thing I'd like to study, as well as nutrition. Are there certain classes I need to take and they just don't tell you or something? Lmfao... I feel like a loser because I can't find the courses I want to take.

    Thank you. >^^;<

Is it just me, or do Bouvs not look anything like Giant Schnauzers?
Do Bouvs even *do* bite work???
I haven't met a lot, but the ones I've met.... haven't been so drivey. My favorite Bouvier in the whole wide world, Gracie, is a prissy girl and loves to stand on a grooming table so much, that you can't walk her past one without her stacking on it.

All the Bouvs I've seen have looked a lot like an un-groomed Giant Schnauzer.  Kind of like describing a Siberian to someone as looking like a Malamute, then listing the differences.  The Bouvs I've met have all been involved in obedience and/or conformation showing.  From what I've read about the breed, tho, they've been used in Europe as police dogs.
