Remote Training Collars?

I  want desperately to be able, one day,  to take my recently adopted 3 yr old, Dob/Lab walking in our back fields. I think she has been on a leash all her life. She got loose from me the other day and ran off into the woods, not good as she is dog aggressive, and i shudder to think what might happen. The remote collars (either citronella or electronic)sound to be the only hope for us. To be honest, a remote training collar would be my LAST resort.
