Canned beaver?!?

    Canned beaver?!?

Well I guess this would definitely be an alternative protein source, and at 1660 kcal/cup, 2825/large can it would be a good way to put weight on too.

Oooo, they have venison tripe too.

I've considered buying that, but decided against it.

I need to stick to basic proteins, in case somebody needs an elimination diet, again.

It does look good, though. Hmmm.... The calories make it more appealing. Emma eats a phenominal amount of food, LOL.

    YUM!

    I'll have to poke around[:D]

ETA: I can't find anything canned, except for the beaver?

The place I go to has canned beaver, that venison tripe one and also turkey.

I don't know, something about that company turns me off.  I can't explain it though.

I can't find it on their site either, but it's herehttp://www.onlynaturalpet.com/products/Canine-Caviar-Canned-Diets-for-Cats-and-Dogs/201015.aspx

    Wow, those look great.

I may try them, sometime. Particularly the venison tripe. That's cheaper than Tripette, and I know that Emma can have venison.

Funny you say that.  I totally agree...?[&:]  Maybe the way the cans are designed or the name.... Im not sure but I know what you mean.

I have bought their canned duck.  It looked and smelled great, and my dog had no problems with it.  The name of the company is a little odd, but they make good food, from what I've seen..
