    Experiment and Question

Ok, so tonight after dinner I took the left over veggies, a bit of cooked pork and some parmesan cheese pureed it in the blender, mixed it in the kibble for my dogs.  You would have thought I cooked them a steak.
Question one: Is this going to make them sick in any way such as diarrhea and vomiting, when do I know it is just normal and when a problem?
Question two: Can I save the mixture in the fridge and give them more tomorrow or do I have to throw it out?
I gave no onions, tomatoes, grapes, or raisins.

    Thanks

I bet it won't make them sick.  I have always given by dogs leftovers after dinner if it doesn't have too much seasoning. It will be good for them and they will love it.
I suppose if they aren't used to table food at all, it could cause a minor problem,,,but since its mixed with their kibble, I think it will be fine!
Sure you can refrigerate and give them "leftovers" tomorrow,,,they'll love it again!

They have had table food before, just not veggies before.  So we will see.

    Thanks.

My dogs STEAL veggies.  And heaven help me if I'm making a salad....they eat more romaine than makes it into the bowl!  You pureed the veggies so they WILL get some good benefit from the vitamins or minerals.

One of my cockers was a major veggie thief.  I had summer squash growing in one corner of a CA back yard (these are pretty generally tiny) and I'd get squash about 3 inches long and then it would vanish.  Could not figure out what kind of bug would wait until the veggies were just the right size to eat them......then caught my Lady bug snacking one day and the mystery was solved.

    You did good for them!

Mine LOVE veggies!  Especially Snuffa, I can use broccoli florets for training treats!

I read somewhere that broccoli stalks work really well for cleaning their teeth.  Mine love all veggies too, especially frozen carrots.

Mine think broccoli "bones" and raw carrots are the greatest. I freeze them to use for chew toys.
