oranges?

Is it okay to feed dogs mandarin oranges(canned)? I ask because I was opening a can, it slipped and half the can ended up on the floor, it was then gobbled up by three dogs.

I think canned mandrine oranges have corn syrup in them. Oranges in general aren't toxic for dogs, but canned mandrine oranges have lots of sugar in them.

I wouldn't have a problem giving them to Bubblegum. I might not buy them for her, but I would sure give her some. She would love them too I'm sure!

I looked at the ingredients and its mandarin oranges, water and sugar. It has 17g of sugar in an 11oz can. One can between three dogs shouldn't hurt them should it?

Can't see how it could, gee some of us take our doggies to get ice cream cones once in a while,,,bet there is more sugar in that.
Not like its an everyday part of the menu! They will be fine I'm sure.
