It depends. If you are going to work them in sled pulling, especially in competition, which may be 10 miles or more, you'll want to feed them a racing dog formula, such as Mometum, with 37 % protein and 25 % fat. If you don't work them quite that hard but still want to pull, you might consider a working dog formula, such as Eagle Pack Power or Nutro High Energy. Otherwise, a regular maintenance diet will do. It is common for mushers to feed a combination of kibble and extra meat and supplements, sometimes raw, sometimes cooked.
My dog is a mix, but with husky metabolism and physiology. I feed him Nutro Large Breed Lamb and Rice, sometimes supplements, and sometimes, cooked beef, pork, chicken, and turkey.

Whatever you feed should plentiful linoleic acid, as it was prevalent in the diet of their ancestors.
