I used the Siamese on a rescue cat I had that was horrendously underweight and anorexic (not eating). Her problem later turned out to be allergies to chicken and grain, but man, that formula made her yell for food and put the weight on FAST when nothing else had.
I have to say about Royal Canin (you were close, lol) that it takes a lot of guts to come out with a bunch of specialty formulas when the big guns' strategy is generally to make as many of their foods as generally appealing as possible. It used to think it was a gimick when they first started making them, but now I'd term it more as a move to grab a niche. That is, now that I'm personally convinced that most of these formulas are actualy
differences that make a difference. I fit were all I had and there was nothing my dog couldn't eat in it, I'd feed it in preference to the others you mentioned.
Along the same lines, I just wrote a note to Natural Balance thanking them for their allergy formula for cats that is actually an allergy formula, similiar in composition to the prescription novel diets but better ingredients and one third the price. I like to let companies know when they've hit on something good, in the hopes that they will be encouraged to keep it up! [

] Anyway, I got an immediate response thanking me and they are going to send me some coupons and a frequent buyer card - cool.
The point is, if you really like a product, it doesn't hurt to let the company know!
