Large breed puppy

• Large breed puppy Jerry laetherman Posted : 6/8/2006 12:12:56 PM Hi there I am new to this forum amd I am glad I found it. We just added a new puppy to the family the other day and we have a few questions about feeding. Our puppy is a Ret/ St.Bernard mix and I know that the have special diet needs, but how can we tell which food is better then another? I read on here that Timberwolf was a good brand, but it is a little pricy. is there another choice that might be a little cheaper, or is it worth the extra money? Also how much and how often should we feed her? And is Wet any Better then Dry? She tends to prefer Eagle Pack Large Breed Puppy and Adult, as it was tested on Great Danes. It has made my ridgeback's coat silky and soft, and he only poops twice a day. It's like 23.99 for a 16.5 lb bag, and it's worth every penny! • Margaret Tyler Posted : 6/9/2006 6:32:37 PM Canned food is great as long as you brush your dog's teeth regularly, start young.   Please, Please, Please get him off of Beneful.  Beneful is a cupcake with vitamins.  There are alot of fillers in Beneful and it's far to costly for what's in it.
