    Does anyone else feed Abady?

I feed my dogs Abady Classic formula. I went with Abady because I have Irish Wolfhounds and A Great Dane. Both of these breeds are prone to bloat. The Abady Classic is nearly free of expanable fiber. It is also so calorie and nutrient dense that I only have to feed my adult male Great Dane four cups of food daily. I was feeding 12 cups of Purina one previously.
My experience has been good. My dogs look and act healthy. Anyone else feed Abady?

There's been a bunch of threads about Abady...do a forum search and you'll find out how other members feel about it.

    In the meanwhile I'll just...

There is another here who feeds it to his lewellyn English setter and swears by it.  I am sure he will come along and 'talk" to you about it.  As far as i know he is the only that feeds it on this forum, or at least the only one that has said so.  Some folks never come to the nutrition part.

    Hahahaha, I'm sorry!
    I had to chuckle.

No, I do not feed Abady and I don't think I even know what form of dog food it is.
Is it kibble, canned, or dehydrated raw?

I guess some do not come here because they are't that intrested in what others feed their dogs, others probably read but don't post because they feed food that is considered 'bad" and they are scared of getting bashed, others may come and read posts under several topcis but just not have anything they want to say--many like to read but never post under any topic.

But there is a lot more than just dog food talked about under this topic and i think that is a good thing.

[sm=popcorn1.gif]This has got to be the cutest thing ever!

As for Abady, Willow really liked the All Star kibble samples I had gotten awhile back.  But, she didn't stay on it for any length of time.

At close to 800 cals per cup for Abady Classic...let's just say you pay for what you get.  I'm sure whatever you feed in your rotation at any given time does not compare in cost or in Cals, regardless of whatever your opinion is on the ingredients.

I'm moving up one notch to Basic Maintenance for several months.  I rotate between Classic, Basic, or Formula for Maintenance and Stress, but I do usually get the Classic.  I have been feeding Granular close to 5 years now.

    BTW, welcome to the group.

Hey Charlie? Do you buy Abady by the cup? I've never heard of buying dog food by volume, but the only way your logic makes sense is if it's sold by volume. Just curious.
