Canidae ALS.... for us.. we are thinking about trying a rotation.... not sure if her tummy can handle something like EVO....?

My dogs are looking great on NRG dehydrated mixed with either canned sardines or sockeye salmon instead of canned food...or raw meat, veggies, fruit such as wild berries, yogurt, ground flax seeds.  I try to feed as many raw meals as possible as well ...but, for me the dehydrated is convenient.  For canned I rotate between California Salmon, Zinpro salmon, Canidae, Nature's Variety. .

Solid Gold (right now Holistic Blendz) kibble and a variety of the Solid Gold canned food.  I also feel that the daily fish oil capsule I give helps a lot especially in the winter.  He used to have drier flakier skin then, but since adding the fish oil there is no problem with dry skin.  I also feed a raw meal now and then and give healthy home cooked food.

This is a pic of the bitch in my avatar when she was on Evolve pup :)

        She's gorgeous.

I'll agree with that. My dogs can handle a good deal more raw fat than processed, and seem to be using it for energy (in the absence of high amounts of carbs).

I didn't know about the Eagle Pack. Em's never been able to eat their foods. I bet it would help a lot of dogs with itchies and dryness, though. It's much less expensive than TO, so I'll have to start pointing to it, when people ask.

Unprocessed fat must be more digestible; I'm glad that Emma's doing so well. I haven't tried TWO because Jessie's allergic to at least one ingredient in all their formulas.

I tried the Ocean Blue. I really liked the idea of it, but in practice, it was too complicated for my dogs. Emma immediately broke out after eating it, and Teenie had about 5-6 meals before she was scratching so bad I gave the bag away. My friend's GSDs looked gorgeous on it, though, before she switched them to raw (at the recall). They look even better, now. They've never looked bad, though, even when she fed them Pedigree.

For Cockers, Anything Chicken or Turkey based is wonderful. We have also used suppliments like Super 14, Fish Flex, Sunflower Oil, etc. to Add extra shine and growth to the show coats. Works wonderfully!
